The thermal diffusivity of a material can be determined using the flash method. Dynalene Laboratory Services is equipped to measure the thermal diffusivity of liquid, solid, thin film, and powder samples.
Thermal Conductivity – ASTM E 1461
Thermal Conductivity can be determined through the flash method provided the Specific Heat is known. The specific heat can also be determined using the Nano Flash™ instrument. Dynalene Laboratory services is equipped to measure the thermal diffusivity of liquid, solid, thin film, and powder samples.
Moltenstat
An instrument to measure the melting point of single or multi-component materials to 1200 oC. This instrument can accurately measure the melting point of multi-component salt systems.
Cryostat
An instrument to measure freezing point of single or multi-component materials to -150 oC. This instrument can accurately measure the freezing point / initial crystallization point of fluids with very low freezing points.
TAG Flash Point Apparatus
- TAG Closed or Open Cup Measurements of a liquids flash point can be determined using ASTM D 1122.
