Dynalene: A Full Service Fluid Provider In The Solar Industry

David Arcury, COO of Dynalene Inc., interviews with a correspondent of Solar Panel Daily News to talk about our latest line of renewable fluid and specialty fluids for the solar industry.

David Arcury, COO of Dynalene Inc. discusses products, distribution and what sets them apart.

SPDN(Solar Power Daily News): Tell our readers a little about your company that makes you unique.

DA(David Arcurary): Dynalene is a company which specializes in developing, manufacturing and distributing heat transfer fluids. Unlike other companies, Dynalene takes it upon itself to make sure you get quality fluid with the technical knowledge and support that you need.

SPDN: What products are you presenting at Solar International?

DA: We are presenting a full line of renewable fluids and specialty fluids for the solar industry. The renewable fluids are made from corn and are specifically designed for solar and geothermal applications. Dynalene Solar Glycol is designed for solar thermal applications. Dynalene GeoGlycol is designed for geothermal systems and our Dynalene MS-1 is a molten salt designed to be used either as a thermal storage medium or a heat transfer fluid for concentrated solar power (CSP).

SPDN: Where is your current product emphasis?

DA: Currently Dynalene is moving toward developing fluids for renewable energy systems. We have developed the Solar Glycol and molten salt for solar and GeoGlycol for geothermal uses. We have also developed a fuel cell coolant, Dynalene FC.

SPDN: What distinguishes your products from the competition?

DA: Dynalene’s line of renewable glycols such as BioGlycol, Solar Glycol, and GeoGlycol offer lower viscosity and longer lifetime than conventional fluids. We also consider ourselves a full service fluid provider, meaning we can maintain your fluid and help keep your systems running.

SPDN: What is the nature of your company’s distribution?

DA: Dynalene distributes its products world-wide. We have a great distribution network.

SPDN: How do you handle sales?

DA: Dynalene sales that are domestic are handled at our world headquarters in Pennsylvania. Our international opportunities are dealt with by our representatives within the geography closest to the need.

SPDN: How have your fluids been received by the industries you serve?

DA: Over the last decade, millions of pounds of Dynalene glycols have been used without issue in applications ranging from solar and geothermal to the beverage and pharmaceutical industries. For more information, call 610-262- 9686, visit www.dynalene.com or stop by booth 2781
